On the anniversary of his birth, we remember our esteemed Brother/Officer Troy Thompson. Troy joined the Rho at the Nu Chapter of Lehman College, in 2012. As Big Brother "Rho Inferno," he was an integral part of mentoring young brothers and worked to create positive change on the campus. He was elected to the position of Director of Chapters, where he served as a national officer, until the time of his transition. His dream was to see the Rho grow and prosper. His wonderful sense of humor, his love of people and plants, made him a joy to know. Although he has gone to the chapter Beyond the Horizon, his Energy and Love remain with us.

Sigma Phi Rho Fraternity Incorporated is one of the youngest national fraternities in this country. Sigma Phi Rho was chartered by 13 brothers at Wagner College, in the Year of Our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-nine for the purpose of developing a lasting brotherhood. Sigma Phi Rho believes that the development of strong character and good moral judgment is essential in the type of bulwark democracy needs to march ever forward. Towards this goal we dedicate ourselves.
